Blue's Great Adventure

It was hard to let Blue go. But it is harder to come home and look for him. When I stop looking in the rear view mirror to see his smile, or wondering why I didn't rush home, or hearing his footsteps in the house and realizing it's my husband, I will look forward to our next Great Adventures. For now, here is our Greatest Adventure with our Beloved Blue.

My heart hurts and I have tears in my eyes. If loving our furry family members is the easiest thing to do, then certainly letting them go is the hardest. But they live in our hearts for a very long time.

Thanks for sharing your adventures with your Beloved Blue. As someone who cherishes her dogs like family, I can appreciate what a tough time this is for you - I have tears in my eyes as well. Take care!

It looks like Blue had a wonderful life. My parents just lost our family dog last week. I don't live with them now, but it's going to be very difficult to accept that she won't be there when I come home to visit.

Oh Leigha I know you mean. I had a special childhood dog too. There's a dog for all the seasons of our life I believe that. In their short lives they leave us too soon. Thinking of you.

It's kind of hard to see through my tears to type, but it is clear that Blue was blessed to have you as family!! What wonderful memories you will always have, especially with all those great wedding photos.

Fine Lines Thank you. We were the blessed ones. Sharing memories with you is really helping me get through this. It helps me to know that other people out there can understand the love for a best friend.

I am so sorry. Blue was so special. He was beyond what one imagines a pet to be. Blue picked some very special people to share his life with. I will never forget our night in Hartford and how much fun we had with Blue. The pain is deep but it will get easier as time passes. Love you!!!

Thanks Monkeygirl:)

You saw the first time you met him how cool he was and loved him every since!!!! You have a special gift for reading people/animals really quickly! He loves his Auntie:)

Oh, Erica -- my heart goes out to you. I can tell by the photos that Blue was a dear, sweet friend. My condolences to you and your husband on the loss that is as real as the loss of a human friend.
