Stop the CLOCK! It's summer.

Well summer is official here! I have been working so hard at school that I didn't make any plans. So here I am with endless possibilities but totally stumped. I think I will have to adjust to summer time. Take my clock down and make sure any plans I make end with an -ish like "I'm going to the library at 2-ish."

Is it hard for you to stop your over scheduled life?  What do you do with your summer break?

We jam pack our summer with life... My husband and I are both teacher and with two young kiddos we have decided that life is more important then money. We go to the beach, library, our community garden, we have bon fires and local parades and festivals. We visit our families and go fishing. We craft, craft, craft. Life live in these three months! I already have the sun burn to show for it:)

That sounds magical! I just bought a book called The Magicians and read a bunch of it today. I'll let you know if it's a good read. Any good reads let me know too!

Oh my, I have so many vacation plans! The weird thing though is that this is the first summer in forever that my son is not here, at least till first of August when he returns from South Africa. I'll miss my summer Scrabble-buddy and his music :-(
Anyhow, summer plans - kayaking and swimming, sunning and reading, painting, making jewelry, sewing, helping to layout a cookbook for a fundraiser, cleaning the house, learning to use Photoshop, blogging, and making my "Lucy in the Sky" altered book. Enough??
As for a good read, Erica, I just finished The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and it may be my new favorite book - very charming and fun to read.
